Gilles and his family provided a warm and welcoming hospitality experience from start to finish, and made our holiday truly stress free. From an airport transfer, lifts around the island, personal tips about the best locations to visit, and home-cooked creole dinner on our final night, we felt at home and part of the family. The house itself is stunning - set up on the hillside above the water, with spectacular views of Beau Vallon Bay and Silhouette Island. The space is well-furnished, and easily accommodated our party of three. The kitchen was also well-equipped to prepare full meals. The Beau Vallon beach is close by (15 min. walk), and though touristy, we made use of the handful of dive shops and the Wednesday night food market. One tip for future visitors - stop at the hypermarket on your way from the airport to stock up on some essentials, as it was tricky to find some things in the small shops near the property. Overall though, five stars. Thank you, Gilles.
